With special guest speaker, Stephanie Zimmerman, Director Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture Bureau of Farmland Preservation
- Grew up in Berks County, PA
- 1990 – Bachelor’s Degree – Animal Science, Delaware Valley University
- 1991-2001-owned and operated turkey and crop operation in Northumberland County
- 2001-2007 Berks County Farmland Preservation Program and Berks County Conservation District
- 2007-present – PA Department of Agriculture’s Bureau of Farmland Preservation
- Director since 2022
- Oversee Agricultural Conservation Easement Purchase Program, Clean and Green Preferential Assessment Program, Ag Security Area Program, and the Century and Bicentennial Farm Program
- Help to advance policies that promote land conservation at state and national levels
